The Limehouse Link Tunnel and The Highway provide access to the City and the West End. The Blackwall and Rotherhithe Tunnels provide a link across the river to south London.

The A13 has been progressively enhanced in recent years and now provides a three lane highway from Canary Wharf to the M25

Canary Wharf has 6,000 car parking spaces of which 2,500 are provided within public car parks. Canary Wharf also provides pedal and motor cycle parking at several locations.

Canary Wharf is well served by taxis with a total of 11 taxi ranks that operate 24 hours a day.


Notifications of planned road closures on the Estate will appear here. Note also that these can occur at short notice however, every effort will be made to update this information when known.

From 11.30pm on Friday 19 January until 5am on Monday 22 January: Churchill Place westbound lanes will be closed during the times outline above in order to facilitate a crane operation. Security Officers will be deployed to assist arriving vehicles, directing them onto the Estate via Upper Bank Street.

From 8am on Saturday 20 January until 6pm on Saturday 20 January: The south carriage way of Bank Street will be closed during the times outlined above in order to facilitate glass replacement works. Security Officers will be deployed to maintain access into Jubilee Car Park.

ONGOING BANK STREET CLOSURES*: Due to ongoing construction projects, the western end of Bank Street will remain closed to vehicular traffic until further notice. Both lanes of the Westferry Circus southern ramp have now reopened to traffic following services diversion works; TfL have been advised and have amended their bus routes in order to service the Estate.
