MAJOR AMERICAN LAW FIRM JOINS CANARY WHARF

Canary Wharf Group today announces that top American Law firm Kilpatrick Stockton LLP will be relocating to Canary Wharf. Kilpatrick has taken an assignment of the Skadden Arps lease of the entire 39th floor of One Canada Square totalling 28,000 square feet.

Kilpatrick Stockton LLP is a full-service international law firm with more than 600 fee earners in eight offices, including: London, Stockholm, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. Kilpatrick Stockton’s delivery of innovative business solutions provides results-oriented counsel for corporations at every stage of the business life cycle, from the challenging demands of financial transactions and securities to the disciplines of intellectual property management.

Commenting on the signing, Kenneth Boehner, Head of the London Office said:

Kilpatrick Stockton will relocate its UK practice from Pall Mall to Canary Wharf in late January 2004. Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom has taken seven floors totalling 140,000 sq ft at 40 Bank Street in Canary Wharf, where its neighbours include Allen & Overy.
