CANARY WHARF RE-OPENS PERMANENT BRIDGE FROM JUBILEE PLACE TO SOUTH DOCK

To co-incide with the opening of Canary Wharf’s new retail mall, Jubilee Place, the permanent footbridge has been re-opened linking the retail mall and Canary Wharf transport links with occupants and residents at South Quay and the Millennium Quarter.

The existing temporary bridge, the green Bailey Bridge, will remain in place in addition to the South Dock bridge for the next three weeks before it is dismantled. The Bailey Bridge was installed by public request and under planning consent until the permanent bridge was re-opened.

The public will be able to cross the South Dock bridge through the new West Wintergarden on Bank Street 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
