| Canary Wharf Shops & Restaurants are holding events over August Bank Holiday in the retail mall especially for families. Kids can get creative with Flowerpot Painting and Diary Making Workshops (perfect for going back to school!). Kids are given the opportunity to bring their own creative ideas to the home as part of the Waitrose ‘Inspired Living’ event which has been running since 18th August. From Saturday 23rd – Monday 25th August terracotta pots will be available to be decorated and materials for ‘homemade’ diaries will also be provided between 11.00am – 4.30pm. Whatever the kids make they are welcome to take home. (These are supervised activities however children must be accompanied at all times.) Adults can get creative ideas too at the previously announced Waitrose ‘Inspired Living’ free event which is being held until 30th August. A selection of neutral, contemporary room sets is currently being showcased and an expert team is also on hand to offer suggestions for transforming living spaces. Until Saturday 23rd shoppers have a chance of winning £500 worth of bed linen from Waitrose Food & Home and from Sunday 24th the competition is offering a ‘Diva’ sofa as featured in the event. The room sets will also be transformed on Sunday 24th with new furniture and a modern colour scheme. All events and competition entry is free |
