NEW RANGE OF EATERIES JOIN CANARY WHARF

Canary Wharf Group today announces that it has exchanged contracts with Dexter’s Bar & Grill to open a 4,370sq ft outlet in its new 89,500 square foot retail mall, Jubilee Place, which opens its doors on September 18th 2003.

Dexter’s Bar & Grill is part of Tootsies, a small independent group of restaurants with a reputation for excellent and informal service. Dexter’s prides itself on serving ‘the fastest fresh food you can get’ and the menu offers a wide selection of steaks, grills, burgers, salads and sandwiches.

Two other food outlets have also recently signed for Jubilee Place. Italian delicatessen Fratelli will bring its speciality range of meats and cheeses to the new mall in a 1,180 square foot outlet. In addition fast food restaurant Port of Call will be selling its range of burgers, chicken and hot dogs in a 1,193 sq ft unit.

The additions join an eclectic mix of eateries opening in Jubilee Place. These include a new Jashan Indian restaurant and a Wagamama noodle bar. There will also be a wide range of food available from Marks & Spencer and current Canary Wharf favourites like Café Brera, The Bagel Factory and Crussh are opening an additional branch in Jubilee Place.

Camille Waxer, VP of Retail, Canary Wharf Group said:

‘The new signings mean there is even more selection available for people working in or visiting Canary Wharf. Whether they want a quick take away sandwich or a five course meal, the introduction of Dexter’s Bar & Grill, Fratelli and Port of Call will mean people can choose from over 50 food outlets throughout the estate.’
