From 18th – 30th August 2003 Canary Wharf will be showcasing a selection of room sets from Waitrose Food & Home. An expert team from Waitrose will also be on hand to offer creative suggestions for transforming living spaces.

The Inspired Living collections will comprise a range of room sets displaying autumn furniture and soft furnishing colours, together with clever space saving ideas for urban living. Visitors can gain insight into a range of state-of-the-art interiors from chic lounges and stylish kitchens to homely nurseries. The creative rooms will provide inspiration for transforming homes, or could just offer some simple ideas for adding the finishing touches.

The entire scheme will change after week one. The theme of the first week will be ‘Contemporary’ featuring the Modo furniture range, which highlights neutral colours with linens and cottons. In the second week the theme will change to a ‘Modern’ furniture range with bright accent colours like red and purple. During both weeks there will be lots of ideas for multi-functional furniture, particularly suited to small urban spaces.

Waitrose Food & Home is located at Canary Wharf in a 100,000 sq ft department store and all the furniture and textiles on display will be available to buy there and then. Inspired Living is a free event and will be located in Canada Place Mall.
