CANARY WHARF LOOKING FOR SPORTS PERSONALITIES


Canary Wharf Group is once again sponsoring and hosting its fourth annual Sports Personality Awards. The awards were created as a formal recognition of the outstanding contribution to sport by young people and their leaders in Tower Hamlets and Thames Gateway

Clubs and organisations are now being invited to submit their nominations for this year’s sporting awards. The ceremony will be held on Saturday 13th November 2004 in Canary Wharf’s prestigious Cabot Hall.

The Nomination Categories are:
- Individual Achievement Award/Sports Personality of the Year
- Junior Team of the Year
- Senior Team of the Year
- Group of the Year
- Voluntary Commitment Awards

Nominees are invited to send in a description of their nominated individual or group achievements for 2004 together with a recent photograph by 5.00pm Friday 24th September 2004 to:
