| Canary Wharf is throwing a party for wizard fans while they wait for the much anticipated release of the fifth Harry Potter book, The Order of the Phoenix at midnight on 20th June. From 8.00pm Canary Wharf’s retail malls will be buzzing with wizarding workshops, real owls that children can meet, spellbinding storytelling, magic shows, a wizards, witches & warlocks trivia game, mystical facepainting, giveaways, roaming characters, competitions and even a secret treasure hunt. More than enough to keep the kids entertained until the witching hour when all will be revealed as the latest book in the Harry Potter series goes on sale at Books etc outlets at various locations around the retail malls. Entertainment will continue until 1am on 21st June. Entry to the event is free. Children are invited to come dressed up as their favourite wizard, witch or magical character, and all costumes will be judged and prizes awarded to the best dressed. Harry Potter fans are advised to pre-order their book for collection at midnight with Books etc offering £3.00 off on pre-sales, however books will be available for sale to all. It is three years since the last book was released and the anticipation for the latest in the series is phenomenal. Canary Wharf Books etc will be one of the best places in London to get your copy of The Order of the Phoenix as all the car parking, transport links (DLR & Jubilee Line) and shopping malls can be accessed undercover and in close proximity to one another. There are over 3,000 car parking spaces and parking is free if you leave after 10.00pm on the night. For further information on the event, call the Canary Wharf Retail
