Canary Wharf Group needs help to make its 7th annual Charity Golf Day the best yet.
Companies and individuals are invited to take part in this worthwhile event at one
of the most exclusive clubs in England by either taking part or donating prizes. The event will take place on 26th July at The London Club and proceeds will be split between Breakthrough Breast Cancer and the Renal Ward at Wanstead Hospital. Last year over £7,000 was raised and donated to MacMillan Cancer Relief. The day will be followed by a two-course meal, prize-giving, raffle and charity auction. The price to take part in the day as a golfer is £50 (maximum handicap is set at ‘24’) or companies can sponsor individual holes at either £500 or £1,000 (£500 donations will double up). Donations can also be made for the after dinner auction and raffle as this always manages to bring in a few extra pounds for charity. Over the past five years Canary Wharf Golf Society has raised over £30,000 for various charities with support from sponsors and tenants.
