SANTA ‘DESCENDS’ INTO CANARY WHARF

Santa will be making a spectacular arrival at Canary Wharf on Sunday 28th November by being hoisted down one of the towers in a cradle. He will then join a parade through Jubilee Park in a pedicab which will include Noddy and friends, a brass quintet, stilt walkers, elves and pixies. Canary Wharf Group has even arranged some ‘snow’ for the event to lend the finishing touch to the festive atmosphere!

Families are encouraged to watch from Jubilee Park with Santa’s descent starting at 12.00. After the parade Santa will take up residence in his Winter Cabin in Jubilee Place mall where he will be found every weekend until Sunday 19th December between 12.00 – 5.00pm. Visits to Santa cost £1.00 with proceeds going to Richard House Children’s Hospice. Children can visit the booking desk to make an appointment allowing families time to shop rather than waiting in a queue.

Festive entertainment will continue during the weekends in December with face painters, festive craft workshops, mix ‘n’ mingle artists and lots of live music.
